We offer various courses in different streams

UG COURSRS

UG is an acronym for Undergraduate, which is done immediately once one have completed with 12th standard. It is for providing students with Bachelor degree such as B.com, BA, B.sc etc. it generally takes 3 years to complete.



PG COURSRS

PG is an acronym for Postgraduate, which is done only after achieving bachelor degree. It is for developing students with a high class knowledge, professionalism,etc. like M.com, MA, M.sc etc. It takes 2 years to complete.




CERTIFICATE COURSES

Certificate courses are narrowly focused and explore the actionable skills needed to work in a particular industry. Depending on the type of the certificate, classes may only cover a broad view of essential industry-related topics or practices to ensure you have a working knowledge of the field.

Our Facilities

The Library is equipped with Reprographic facility. It has a seating capacity of 300 and is managed by professionally qualified library staff. CLGIET carries a wide range of books and publications on Applied Science, Humanities and Social Science and Engineering subjects through its fast growing core collection of around 4600 volumes.

World class library

The University Library, officially designated Dr. V.S. Krishna Library, is one of the biggest libraries in the country with about 4,00,000 books. The library subscribes to many national and international journals in all disciplines. There is a Reading Room attached to the Library for the benefit of the students. The Reading room and the Text Book section are kept open round the clock.

Largest play ground

There are two play grounds, viz., The Silver Jubilee play ground and the Golden Jubilee Play ground on the campus. There is a department of Physical Education too. In addition, there is also a Gymnasium.

Tastey and healthy food

The canteen food is very tasty and it is very neat. The food is all sealed and served in packets, so that it makes it easy to carry around and have food. There is a canteen in-charge that takes care of the quality of the food and the neatness of the canteen.

About us

The university emblem was designed by Sri Kowta Rammohan Sastri with the guidance of Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy. The rising sun represents the university itself and the radiating light rays representing its faculties of study. The lotus is the seat of Goddess Lakshmi (prosperity) and Saraswati (knowledge). The swastika is the symbol of benediction. An ocean is the vast region of knowledge. The two serpents represent the seekers and custodians of wisdom.[7]

Andhra University was ranked 1001+ in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings of 2020[11] and 351–400 in Asia.[12] The QS World University Rankings of 2020 ranked it 351–400 in Asia.[10] It was ranked 36th in India overall by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2020[13] and 19th among universities.[14] NIRF also ranked the Andhra University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences 34th in India in the pharmacy ranking.[18]
